New Year's Eve in Palermo is celebrated in the square at the concert in Piazza Castelnuovo, organized every year by the Municipality of Palermo.
The City is preparing to experience the special New Year's Eve night with a great event to welcome 2025 together with one of the greatest artists of contemporary Italian popular music: Biagio Antonacci who will perform on the stage set up in Piazza Ruggero Settimo, with “TUTTI A PALERMO”, the show that marks his return to concert in the city after 25 years and that it will therefore be a double musical celebration punctuated by the successes of the Milanese singer-songwriter.
Accompanied by his band of multi-instrumentalists, Biagio Antonacci will perform dedicating to the Palermo audience the latest singles from the album “L’Inizio”, without forgetting the songs that have marked his now thirty-year career. A performance full of passion and feeling, charisma and pure energy of an Artist with an unmistakable voice.
How far is Piazza Ruggero Settimo from the historic centre?
Piazza R. Settimo is about 19 minutes by walk from the intersection between via Roma and via V. Emanuele. The advice is to walk on foot using the main axes such as via Maqueda, via Roma and via V. Emanuele and head towards the square around 10pm. Maybe equipped with a good bottle of sparkling wine to share with other people. Avoid walking around midnight due to problems with the bangs.
